I have both a chemex and Bodum glass pour oveer brewer (34 oz) Fits snug in the opening and keeps the coffee warm for maybe 10-15 minutes longer than without. I've used it several times so far and it seems to hold up well in the diswasher. Time will tell.

This is the one. I use a 5 cup chemex and it does exactly what I hoped it would do - prevent some heat loss and stay put while I pour. It’s not the most aesthetic but it fits well and does its job. Highly recommend!

Slightly overpriced in my opinion, but it works. You can still pour with this in place and it helps to retain heat for a longer period of time.

Nothing fancy here...just a nice top for your Chemex that isn't glass and if it falls out while pouring it will not crack your Chemex. Until you're pouring out the last bit, it stays in place in the Chemex and the Chemex pours nicely...it's only at the very end when you're pouring out the last drop that you should put a finger on this lid so it doesn't fall into your coffee.

I use this rubber stopper in combination with the glass lid. It’s not a perfect seal, but it seats nicely into the neck of the Chemex. By itself, the rubber stopper does helps keep my coffee a bit warmer, but not for long. Combining it with a tea light/warmer keeps my coffee hot/warm for hours. I probably don’t need the glass cover, but I like the way it looks and I use it to hold the rubber stopper in place while pouring. Yes, it takes both hands to pour either way.

10 bucks for a piece of silicone that doesn't stay put past a certain angle during pouring and doesn't honestly do much to keep the heat in either. I thought it might act like a gasket and not fall out while pouring but that's not the case. I see little need or use for this item, although I do like it in concept. Despite my qualms, I'll likely continue using it.

Exactly what I wanted. Much better than the glass or bamboo tops I bought and went through.
