If you are looking for a device to add bluetooth capabilities to a PC that doesnt have it, this WONT do that.It will act as a Bluetooth Audio Transmitter and if you plug it into a PC will allow you to use its inbuilt audio support to stream that PCs audio to an output BT device (as the manual implies - if you DONT have a PC and are just looking for an audio gateway that you can plug an aux jack into and powered is via any USB charger/port then it WILL do that).Dont buy this expecting to pair devices to it via your windows bluetooth menu - pairing is done by pushing the button on the dongle. As I said, its not a full bluetooth stack, just the audio.

Got this to use on a Panasonic tv to add Bluetooth headphones capabilities. Works really well. To start with the sound was a bit hissy but turning up the headphone volume setting on the tv sorted this out. I’m not using low latency headphones so there is a very minor delay between the sound and picture but it’s not a problem. Unless there is a close up shot you don’t even notice it. This is great for making the tv listenable when everyone else on the house is on bed. No more subtitles required.

My Bluetooth soundbar stopped working after update to Windows 10, no matter what I did.Spotted this and thought I would give it a go as it uses usb sound driver on the PC.Connected straightaway and the sound quality is better than ever, no lag or distortion.Added bonus of being able to connect my BT headphones as well.

It is a bit unusual to have a bluetooth connector which is not visible as a bluetooth device in the control panel. Instead it appears as speakers and you need to make it default to direct sound to it. However then it just pairs with what you want and you have sound on your speaker or whatever it may be. Very easy.

Windows found it and shows in my Playback Devices. Happy with it all round

This is not a full Bluetooth connector for a PC and it is not easy to manage. It worked OK with one set of bluetooth earbuds but not with another.The MPOW BH456A dongle is much better and no more expensive.

Proper csr apt-x low latency even in dual link mode

It was easy to connect to the pc. If you don't have bluetooth on your pc then this is a good alternative. Does what it needs to, a bit bulky but it gives it more range. Just make sure you get a decent bluetooth headset.
