Works great and easy to mount though I did buy 4 teflon locking nuts to ensure mounting stability. The supplied nuts and washers seemed cheap and I wanted to not worry about it.

I purcahsed this to add braking connection to my work truck for a new 10,000# trailer. It has performed well, was easy to install, and is durable (except when my truck slid back-first down a steep hill and was stopped by the hitch & socket!) I used a very generous amount of electrical contact jelly on the wiring connections, as well as sealing the wiring entrance with silicone caulk, all because of the very corrosive snow melt used here in Western PA winters. I doubt that you would find a better socket at 3 x the price.

Only issue I had with this, was the size of the terminal connections, they are too small for the wires for Ground, Power and Electric Brakes.

I've used 5 of these on various vehicles and they work very well and stand up to what I've put then through, including backing one into a lamp post on my 3/4t truck. It bent the bumper in and cracked the lid but still seals up and works fine.
