We purchased this tripod to take family pictures for Christmas cards and it was money well spent! After looking at several tripod options, we landed on this one because it has one of the greater ranges in height and ability to use the camera/phone with multiple setups. The tripod itself is sturdy yet lightweight, easy to configure, high quality, and worked perfectly with our Google Pixel phone. This product is worth it simply for the tripod! However, there are connectivity issues with the remote. We actually returned our first model because of this issue, but found the replacement to have similar problems. It has a decent range, but you cannot use the remote through anything - you must point it directly at your phone for it to click (we solved this issue by setting a 3 second timer on the phone camera so we would have time to hide the remote after pointing and clicking). Unfortunately, because of this issue, the remote disconnects frequently and does not reconnect automatically; you must go into your phone's Bluetooth setup and reconnect each time. Another note for Google users: there are buttons on the remote for both Android and iPhone. The remote only works on the iPhone button with Google phones.We may eventually try purchasing a separate remote, but for the price, the tripod alone is worth it!

I got this tripod for my husband, who loves hiking, and it’s been perfect! It’s lightweight, compact, and easy to carry. The magnetic phone holder is super strong, and the tripod stays sturdy even on uneven ground. The Bluetooth remote makes hands-free shots a breeze. Great for outdoor enthusiasts!

The quality seems fine, but the main drawback I've seen so far, specifically with an iPhone 16 pro, is that when using magsafe and the back camera, the camera picks up part of the tripod/mount when using the .5x or 1x lenses. Any of these photos always have part of the mount visible on one side of the photo. I assume this is due to the bottom lens being so close to the mount. You can probably work around this somewhat by using the grip mount instead of magsafe and offsetting the phone, but that was the hassle I was trying to avoid with this magsafe tripod. It seems to work fine for selfie use or anything using the front camera. I haven't decided if it bothers me enough to return or I'll just work around it, but I probably wouldn't have ordered if I was aware.
