Must know before buying.
If you thinking about buying this, two things you need to know from my experince. 1st: Your drawer does not have a knob of any kind! It won’t fit. 2nd: Its not as easy to open as some video I watched! Pulling it apart from the bottom requires two hand and needs a good pressure. And If you have a long nail, be careful not to break your nails! Lets make it three things. Cabinet door with knobs needs to be 12” wide or wider. UNLESS YOU ARE PLANNING ON KEEPING THIS FREE STANDING, I think you can buy a less expensive garbage can where you can lined with plastic bag. Got my son one for his room at the dollar store. Just saying.

Works ok for specific cupboard door types... most won't.
while my wood cupboard doors will not close correctly with this mounted, I can still make good use of it by hanging it on an open door or drawer during extended 'peeling' tasks,. Lining it with a plastic shopping bag, I can sit on my kitchen stool and peel right into it. I can partially close the drawer and use it for organic trash as I am actively cooking, peeling onions, etc, then knot that little bag and drop in into my regular kitchen trash with the 'stink' contained in the knotted plastic shopping bag. Then I can put a fresh recycled shopping bag in it, place it under my sink to drop in any incidental organic trash, as it stands well, like a small, narrow waste basket. So it is useful and I will probably order one for my other house as well.

Perfect for inside the cabinet
This is a perfect compost bin for under my sink. I first tried to hang it on top of the cabinet door facing outside the cabinet, and panicked as it didn’t fit due to how my cabinet is set up. I then noticed two clear plastic hooks with a large adhesive backing that are included in the box. I Put these on the inside of the door, made sure they were well adhered (put pressure on them and left them alone for a few hours) and cleared space inside the cabinet so that the door could close unobstructed with this thing fully extended and hanging inside the door, and it works. I now use it with a green compost bag for all my food scraps and it is perfect and out of sight.

Great !
I liked everything about this collapsible mini trash can because I can hang it off my drawers in the kitchen and the grocery bags of which I have lots of them have become very useful in this little trash can. The only thing about this trash can is that the the bar that slides the bag into place was somehow lost into the trash, maybe the manufacturer of this trash can if possible can find a way to attach a tab at the end of the bar where one can add a chain or something that will keep it from getting lost in the trash. Love my little trash can, it has saved me from making several trips during the day to the outside trash. I have a compactor and I do not place any smelly or wet meat packaged or compost in it and this little can is my go to trash constantly through out the day! Thank you SUBEKYU for my mini garbage bin.

Great!
This is great!!! It’s been a while since I keep my kitchen trash can outside my kitchen door. First it was the small kids opening it up and getting dirty but then I noticed a lot of flies would have a party in my trash can and fly out every time we would open it. Summer was the worst with the flies so we kicked it outside but hadn’t been collecting kitchen trash in a small ugly Container that got full like 4 times a day. This hangs nicely off a drawer and is very sturdy. I contemplated on not using bags at first but I kept having to rinse it out every time I dumped trash out so I just bought the bags and take out the full bags at the end of the day. The flies are still having an outdoor party in the large trash can but Atleast they are outside.
