Believe it or not, these whistles were purchased to see if my dog would stop barking. She did stop and then I had her sit for a few minutes afterwards. She is getting better and recognizes that she should respond to this whistle.The whistles appear to be durable enough for my use. In my case, an occasional 'blow' to get her attention. I can not speak to the quality if used over and over in a practice scenario, however.Perhaps these are the ideal deterrent for a barking dog! Will update in a few months with progress. Patience, patience, patience.Delivered to my door so for me it doesn't get any better than that....Highly recommended.

Purchased these for emergencies to call for help quickly & loudly. I never take it off. Very LOUD.I've only considered using it once. I was exiting an elevator & inexplicably the door tried to shut trapping me across the threshhold. Each movement I made the door would try to close a bit more. It would not let me go. I was terrified.I was able to free my arm so I could reach my whistle & not permit the door to close further. At that moment the door released me. Thank you, Jesus!Question: Does anyone know of a universally recognized summons for help tweet? All I can think of is an SOS.Purchase these for your children to wear when they are going to & from a friend's home. These are an invaluable safety item.

tee,arleters cam cll all the time and nothing stops them well it might not stop them but makes me happy if i deafen them a little. got the whistles to blow in the phone when i get an unwanted call. i feel like i got my moneys worth when i make my first blow to the telemarketers. so if nothing works get these whistles and feel better they are loud. did not hurt my iPhone 8 plus which i checked by calling apple. maybe if enough people start .... get these whistles well made and nice cord to hang around neck to have at anytime needed

We live in tornado alley, so I needed a loud whistle to add to our emergency kit, which already contained a crank weather radio, flashlight with extra batteries, several warm throws, a few water bottles, and a box of Kind Nut bars. Our downstairs bathroom is our windowless refuge when the tornado siren goes off, and should we ever be buried under the kindling that was once our house, this whstle might help rescuers find us. I was able to get a great deal of volume with a minimum of breath and effort, which might be important if we are injured under the wreckage. Always think ahead!

It does what it's supposed to do, but you really have to put a lot of "oomph" into it to get a nice sharp whistle. They're intact, but don't feel like they'll last very long. Overall, they work for what I needed them for, and you definitely get what you pay for.

Thought I was purchasing 3 but only 2 were received. Don't know if it was a mistake but if not, it wasn't being sold under the assumption on just 2 as even the picture shows 3 whistles.
