Great system for the price
I'm seeing conflicting information in reviews here, so here goes with my findings:* First, the unit I receive did come with English-based instructions. Agreed, it's "Asian English" and sometimes not precisely clear, but clear enough to figure it out.* The controls are explained in function and while a little tricky initially, aren't difficult to figure out.* All labels on the amp itself are in English. So if someone ordered and got an "Asian language" version... I'd send it back and ask for the English version. Mine is totally English.PROS:* The value for price. $15 (at this time) and comes with a microphone, power charger and amp.* This is an awesome little portable guitar amplifier. Plug the guitar into the LINE jack and you'll get far more volume and quality than you'd expect from a 5v amplifier. You will need a powered or electric/magnetic guitar pickup. My passive-pickup guitar didn't work with it, but my Ovation active-pickup worked very well.* A rechargeable battery in a $15 unit is exceptional value.* Very decent job on voice. You will need to adjust the mike the proper distance from your mouth and make sure the amp is a sufficient distance away from the mike or you'll get feedback. But distance parameters met, this does a very respectable job of sound reproduction.CONS:* The FM radio part is a little confusing in operation, as is the USB thumbdrive and microSD card slot. However once one gets it figured out it's fine. I really don't know why FM is even included with this unit; it's not essential to its basic function (sound amplifier).* Uses a rechargeable battery. I listed this as a positive feature as well, but it's also a negative thing as rechargeable batteries have to be recharged. When they're out of power, the unit stops working. I'd much rather have replaceable batteries (which I can recharge or replace if needed). But since I'd never use this unit for the hours of time it lasts (according to other users)... I don't foresee this as a major problem. Besides... I'm not beyond opening a case and messing with the power unit if I have to, and this does come with a recharger.NOTES:For those who may experience feedback or distortion... the amp must be a sufficient distance away from the mike... and the mike is fairly sensitive. The system comes with a strap; I'd let that strap out at max length or set the amp on a table or something. If it's sufficiently distant from the mike there is no feedback. The MIC jack is primarily for the included microphone. I tried plugging a guitar into that jack and there was quite a bit of distortion. Plugging the guitar into the LINE jack worked perfectly... so this is excellent as a combo voice/guitar amp.You can't use FM and the MIC at the same time (don't really know why this unit even has FM). Since I don't use it as a radio, doesn't matter to me.Rating this 4 stars rather than 5 because the song selection controls could be simpler to use. As it is each button has double-duty, depending on whether one short or long-presses it. It's okay once you get used to it, but it's not as simple as it could be.Nevertheless, this is a great value for the price and well worth buying. I'm quite pleased with the purchase.

QFX Rider Portable
This is my review of this portable PA system. I'm expecting that this productis some kind of flimsy, cheap plastics but when got it I was happy its not that bad, seems durable, the case is made of glossy hard plastic,-USB/ MicroSD card slot is a plus-Easy to adjust volume-Built in rechargeable battery and comes with a AC adapter-with Built-in FM +Antenna is a plus for someone-with LCD indicator, is a plus but also its a factor draining the battery-with belt Clip and strap holder (Nylon Strap included) if you want to hang it on your neck-Sound Output is not that bad, good for indoors like a class room size-comfortable and easy to adjust head microphone (Wired)This is also good for outdoors but depending on location and the number of people/crowds this PA system to be used. To be sure test the unit outside and let someonehelp you and measure the distance on how far you can hear the voice from the PAPurchased this PA system for my sister who is a PE teacher coz she needs it duringher class, overall recommend this product,

Happy With It!
I knew I was taking a chance on this one, considering the reasonable price. This unit worked fine with an old hand-held computer mic I had hanging around. It did not work with a new 3.5 mm male plug mic I purchased on Amazon because it was not electronically compatible in other ways. My "Rock Star" clips the unit to his pants or uses the strap across his body to secure it to his person and sings into the connected hand-held mic (without the head set). He also uses the headset at times and it works fine. The sound is very good, doesn't sound tinny to us. Seems to hold the charge during storage very well. We haven't used it for more than 30 minutes at a time, so can't speak of actual usage time. We don't use the radio part because we have no need, but it is not easy to activate. Worked as MP3 speaker.Give it a go!

Packs a Punch!
This little box let's your voice carry VERY loudly. Turn up the volume in tiny increments so that you don't blow out people's eardrums! I used this as a tour guide so that everyone could hear me, and it works! The reason why I gave it 4/5 stars is because the cord from the microphone to the radio has a nylon(?) cover that gets bunched up easily and then the cord itself sticks out through the cover in various places. Be careful when stowing and make sure to use a twist tie or something to keep it from doing this. I have even been able to hook up my MP3 player and play my music through the radio. Not the best quality, but good enough for me to be happy enough to listen to it all day while cleaning.

Exceeded my Expectations
I love this little PA by QFX. It is smaller than I expected - a good thing. It is louder and clearer than I expected. I can speak at a normal volume and it amplifies my voice with very good clarity, no distortion. As long you resist the urge to yell, your voice will be nice and clear and loud enough for a normal classroom. At the end of the day, I have much more energy to teach since I need little effort to project my voice. I am very happy. My students are very happy. Don't put the mic too close to your mouth. The FM radio and the USB is a nice bonus. The built in rechargeable battery lasts all day and can be charged via a USB cable if an outlet is not handy. My only complaint would be the minimal instructions for using the radio. No big deal, you can figure it out. I would recommend it without thinking twice.

As a waist band portable PA I like it but................
As a portable amplifier the sound is exceptional but the piece that clips on the belt broke after having squatted several times.I need to know how can I replace the broken part or if you can send to me the part. The button that makes contact to FM does not work well, pressing multiple times sank.Anyways I think that it is very helpful for teachers in very big classrooms or Physical Education teachers in open areas. It is helping me now. Please help me fix it.
