Just right for my old Kindle and impossible to find!
I bought my Kindle in 2007 and it's fine for my needs - but the cover was damaged on a recent flight and I have not been able to find another one to fit. This one is perfect - the material is nice, the colors are great, and most importantly - the Kindle fits perfectly. I didn't want the stylus or the loop (not sure why anyone even needs a stylus with a Kindle, but I guess some users do) so I cut it off carefully with a sewing scissors. It's really odd how difficult it is to find a cover for an old Kindle - I can't be the only one still hanging on, surely?

Seems to be excellent quality - fits my Kindle Touch perfectly
Ordered for my Kindle Touch (model D01200), and it fits perfectly. This cover does not have a stand feature, which I really wanted, or pockets (not desired, but convenient); but I ordered it because it is difficult to find a cover that is designed for the earlier Kindles. I was surprised by the excellent manufacturing quality, and expect it to last at least as long as the Kindle does (I have worn out 3 lesser quality make-do covers already). I don't know the composition of the outer material, but it has a very nice leather appearance and feel. The outside has a very comfortable slight padding, firm stiffening, and very well done stitching. The magnets that keep the cover closed or all the way folded back hold very well, but pull away nicely when you want to open or close it. The inner lining has a soft, brushed fabric feel that should provide good protection, and gives a soft, non-slip surface to hold. It stays right in place in my hand with no need for any elastic holding band (which it does not have). The device is held in place by a fold-over flap which does not have a Velcro fastening, because it is not needed. The fit is so good and snug it take a sincere effort to remove the device from the pocket - it is NOT going to slip out accidentally. The included stylus is ok, not great; but as an earlier reviewer said, I have no idea why anyone would want one for the Kindle Touch. Since I do not use it, the small elastic loop to hold the stylus will probably be snipped off in the near future. I ordered the red cover because I have had 2 black ones that tended to help camouflage my Kindle when I put it down - it has been hidden in plain sight for months at a time. The red is visible, but still a very classy looking material. There are openings, etc. for all controls, connections , and the speakers - no access problems at all. I have no problem recommending this as an excellent basic cover (yes, I wish it had a flip out stand); and I may even go ahead and order another just in case my Kindle outlives this one.

Still using my Touch in 2020
Great little case. I recently scratched the front of my Kindle Touch despite so many years of being careful and seeing the scratch everytime I picked it up to read something just made me relive the shame so I wanted a case that primarily covered the front edges, something you don't get with elastic corner cases. This does that, so personally, 5 stars off the bat.But in addition, there's good cutting for ports, including the rear speakers that honestly I wouldn't have really cared if they forgot. The case also stays closed due to magnets so I don't have to break a nail prying some snap closure open. My Kindle feels secure and snug in the case itself, won't go flying out on its own. The case adds a little bit of bulk but every part of it is soft and comfortable to hold. Someone said they didn't care much for the stylus but I like it. The Touch's screen I always found temperamental, either not responsive or too responsive, and the stylus helps I think.I thought the case itself would be a more solid, brighter red to the point I was concerned it'd be distracting or eye searing but it's actually darker and a bit muted which was a relief.Usually when your options for accessories dwindle as something gets old and everyone moves on, you're left with only garbage but this was anything but. Very surprised and happy.

Fine case
It's a good enough case, I suppose. It's not like I had many options, since my Kindle is so old. It fits the Kindle Touch(2012 version) quite snuggly. Seems like it's made well. The only thing that I didn't like personally is the suede-type inside. It warms up my hands and I just don't like the feeling of it, but that's a personal complaint and nothing against the case. Looks like a sturdy enough case but we'll see how it holds up.

the picture did not represent the amazing product well
This is a beautiful cover for Kindle Touch. The picture does not do the actual product justice. The picture makes the product looks old fashion, but the real color looks very classy and is suitable for man and woman. I don't usually write review, but am so happy with this cover that I am compelled to do so. Make old Kindle Touch feels so lovely that it just keeps me want to read more books with it.

Best Option for Kindle Touch
My Kindle Touch still works great, but is several generations old at this point, and it's very difficult to find cases for it that are affordable and nice. This fit the bill perfectly. I'm really enjoying holding my Kindle with this case. I new that it had a stylus holder, which I wasn't planning on using, but to my surprise a stylus was included, and I actually use it quite often and enjoy turning the pages and especially highlighting sections of a book with it.

This case’s extra bulk will take some adjustment on my part, and I’ll likely relegate the stylus to a junk drawer and remove its elastic loop as others have done. I’m not crazy about the magnetic closure, either. But the old case was disintegrating and the Kindle still works, so it’s time for a change. I thought I would never be able to separate the device from its original case, but once I inserted a tiny screwdriver blade between them they parted easily. And slipping the Kindle into its new home couldn’t have been easier. A solid four stars.

Nice looking and sturdy
I have a very old Kindle Touch, which I use every day, whose protective cover finally began to fall apart. I was very happy to find this cover to fit such an old product. It looks good and is very sturdy. I wish it had a little sleeve to slide my hand into while reading, but that is not a deal-breaker. Thank you for continuing to offer something for those people who have never upgraded from their original Kindle purchase!
