I was skeptical that our 16-year old dog would accept these socks, but he has not tried to pull them off and they are working really well to keep him from slipping on our bamboo floors. (We still have a couple of yoga mats down for the key areas.) He is a 24-lb. poodle-bichon mix, and his paw measurements indicated he needed a size XS. I worried that might be too small, but the XS socks fit him fine. They don't slip off, and don't seem to bother him at all once they're on. So far he only needs his back paws covered, leaving us with two more pairs when these wear out.A tip from a friend: if your dog hates having socks put on, you can set one inside a water glass that is just a bit bigger than his paw, fold the top of the sock over the top of the glass, and put his paw in the glass. Then slip the top of the sock off the glass and onto his ankle, and pull away the glass. Voila!

I have a large dog, 120 lbs. He has trouble getting up on our tile and these socks seem to help. I use the velcro strap that goes on them, as well. The problem is that he messes with the velcro strap and even pulled the entire snap off the sock so now I can't use the velcro strap with that sock at all. He didn't like me putting them on so I had to leave them on as long as he would leave them alone. Otherwise they are a great concept, but I think the snap needs to be rethought. Maybe the strap should just be sewn into the sock? I'm not sure how the design would work for dogs that don't particularly care for their feet to be bound up.

I have a pit mix and she has decided the floor is lava. She slips all over the hardwood floors when it's time to go out but somehow she walks just fine when she comes back in. These gave her confidence. Stays on great when the black velcro strip is used. She will wear these a couple of times and then not need them for weeks. We use them for her as a confidence builder.

These socks have been life changing. Our sweet Boxer is thirteen years old. He often struggled to go from laying down to standing up on our hardwood floors. However, these socks allow him move without sliding. The only issue that we have had is that they sometimes come off. There two extra socks included in the package. I still highly recommend this product.

Our dog managed to remove his sock much to our dismay! We bought these to cover up a surgical procedure he had done on his dew claw. Overall it was a waste of money.

Had to return a set that was an exact replacement from current socks but not the same quality on the second round. It worked out since these socks have a better coverage area of non skid material so less likely to slip. Good fit and worth considering

Glad I found these! They fit great, stay on with no problem and they keep my large Old English Sheepdog from sliding across the hardwood floors or falling and getting hip issues. I saw these at a dog show and am so glad to find them on Amazon. Make sure to follow the easy instruction to measure your dog's paw before buying them to get the correct fit. You will love these!

This girl is 5 years old, I was afraid they wouldn’t work. She seems to actually like them! We ordered the XL, she is Newfoundland and weighs 126 lbs.
