The chairs fold compactly, are easy to carry, and are comfortable. I like that the height of the seat is adjustable.

I have decades of miscellaneous different types of camping experiences and thus I know for certain that a good camp chair is one of the most important accessories for any camper. Though I currently have 6 or 7 foldable camping chairs in misc stages of decay, I only have 1 of the modern ones (which folds to about 1/3 the size of the old type) and I’ve had that only a month. So when I saw the Sportneer Lightweight Adjustable Height Folding Camping Chair on Amazon it was a no-brainer to put in the order.Within only a few days of chair receipt I found myself on a four-day camping trip with some Montana friends who drove to AZ in hopes of escaping their winter for a bit of warmer camping - what a great opportunity to test the Sportneer chair out.I initially practiced assembling & disassembling the chair (see my video) at home, so once we were at our campground, that was a minor issue. The area we camped at was 20 miles north of Globe, AZ, a campground which had clearly received rain showers recently based on the sogginess of the ground at our campsite. The third day of our trip we received fairly strong rain showers which converted to snow showers, completely covering everything with an inch of snow. Because of that, we retreated into a “heat tent” where we sat (in our chairs) for hours around a small portable wood stove eating, reading, chatting, etc in a successful attempt at staying warm. The next morning it was 18° so we did something similar until it was time to head back home. So much for my friend’s attempt at warm weather camping :-)Apart from one minor issue the chair performed flawlessly, both around camp and in the heat tent, and thus proved its value as a permanent addition to my camping gear.The issue I referenced pertained to the relative ease of the chair sinking into the somewhat soggy ground. Though having soggy ground at a campsite is not all that common, in my opinion, it’s common enough that I’d recommend the manufacturer create some type of slip-on feet (which would slip over the current feet) for those situations such as what I encountered.One final note. One of my friends had a similar structured chair which he purchased from REI. I believe the chair weighed 1 pound, 1/2 of what my Sportneer chair weighs. That’s important for ultralight backpacking, but unimportant for all other types of camping. Also, that chair cost over $100, the Sportneer only ~$40. Keep that in mind.

My kids are starting to go to tournaments that require being able to pack everything into a bag that can be checked. Compresses down and travels well. Durable, so far, and easy to fold up.

This chair is indeed light-weight and easy to assemble. I was able to put it together and take apart to store without reading the included manual, though the manual did offer some helpful tips.I appreciate that it is marketed/sturdy for up to 330lbs but I can tell you that the chair (especially the central seat of the chair) is quite small. I am 5'4" and a bottom-heavy size 22, below the weight limit, and I felt like I was sitting in a chair for ants, essentially. So do avoid if you are a fuller figured person.

First this is a pretty small chair, if you're a big person this is not going to be something you want to use as a primary place to sit. It is however extremely compact and perfect to bring along places where you will need short rests and don't want to sit on the ground. Its perfectly sized for my kid who will most likely be the primary user when we go camping.Despite how small it is it's quite strong. I weigh over 300lbs and it holds my weight. If your are 200lbs or less don't worry about it not being strong enough, it will hold you without a problem. It does sit low to the ground though, so if you have mobility problems, you may have trouble getting in and out of it.Setup/takedown is a breeze once you get the hang of it. It uses tent pole type construction with stretchy bands inside to keep it all together and helps it snap in place while assembling. To break it down just stretch it apart, fold it up, and use the Velcro straps to hold it in the folded state. Then it slips right into it's carrying case.Overall it's a neat useful little seat. Just keep in mind you'll probably want something more substantial to sit on for long camping trips. This is more a place to sit for a short while when hiking or working. Or it's something to keep in your trunk so you have something other than the ground to sit on at your kids tee ball game. It will work perfectly as a camping chair for kids though.

Zusammengefaltet im kleinen Täschchen, glaubt man zuerst nicht, dass das ein bequemer, ausreichend großer Stuhl werden könnte.Hatte den Stuhl ruckzuck und ganz einfach ohne Gebrauchsanweisung zusammengesteckt. Die Sitzprobe ergab, dass er meine 94 kg problemlos hielt. Dreht und bewegt man sich im Stuhl, geht das Gestänge etwas mit, dennoch ist er stabil. Ich empfinde den Stuhl überraschend bequem, obwohl ich ihn sehr gut ausfülle. Das Auseinanderbauen und verstauen im Täschchen ist ebenfalls sehr einfach.Ich freue mich schon ihn beim Spazieren und leichten Wandern im Rucksack mitzunehmen und wenn ich aufgrund meiner Krankheit eine Pause einlegen muss, ein feines gemütliches Sitzplätzchen zu haben.Absolut empfehlenswert dieses Teil, grandios das winzig kleine Packmaß!

Pesa más de lo que creía y es un poco complicado al principio montarla, para poner los bastones en sus esquinas, y luego también plegarla. Supongo que con la práctica será más fácil.

sehr leicht sowie einfach aufzubauen und bequem, macht einen stabilen Eindruck - große Leute dürften mit dem Stuhl nicht glücklich werden, da die Sitzhöhe sehr niedrig ist - wegen des reduzierten Preises und des geringen Gewichts haben wir den Stuhl behalten

La utilice me gusto esta bastante bien por eso tiene un 4 y no menos cumple su función la pena seque yo soy algo alto y pensé que no me iba a ser incomoda pero si lo fue en según que momentos. Por lo demás va genial el posa besos de cumple bien.

Great chair and quite well made. Only draw back is perhaps it’s not the easiest chair to put away. It is however quite comfortable and I spent several hours sitting watching an aircraft display. Quite low seating position but I chose the adjustable leg version and at 6”3 and 66years young had not problem getting in and out.
