Lunar TidesSemi-Permanent Hair Color (43 colors) (Solar Flare, 4 fl. oz.)

I have been trying every product brand to achieve this green shade and I finally found the perfect company. I colored my hair early August and today being September 10th I have still not needed to touch up the color. I usually have to use a color depositing shampoo to keep my hair vibrant but again with this brand I have not needed it. The down fall is I have to stock up on this color cause it does sell out quickly in the bigger bottles so then I would have to buy 3 of the small bottles cause I have a LOT of hair but it's worth it with this brand. The color was applied on top of a faded blue.

If you saw Amon Ra ST. Brown's hair last season, many people wanted to dye their hair that blue color he had, I think it was like a Hawaiian blue. tHIS IS Not that color (my keyboard is broken so half my letters are capitalized). My son Is such a fan and wanted to do his hair for the playoffs so we bleached his hair, slapped this color on and got GREEN/teal. I tried to balance it out with other colors and we didn't even come close to the cyan sky color. Ive never colored my sons hair before, even with the bleach which was not the copper color and there was no indication that it would take and turn blue into green, we finally got a blue, not even close to Hawaiian blue, but some what of a blue. So if you use this, idk may turn green and may not get the blue you want, just be careful. It was fun otherwise to get into the spirit of DETroIT!!

Before and after. The mint was from my stylist and just wasn’t what I wanted, the second pic where I covered my face is with this dye. It’s the exact color I wanted! The money piece is bleached and uneven, hence the slightly green roots so I’m gonna do another round of saturated color up there but I loved this product. It’s more of a gel consistency than some dyes I’ve used and it lathered really well. My hair was damp when I applied since I had just showered and I was suuuuuuuper nervous about the color bleeding out of the money piece but it didn’t! After I rinsed I put all of my hair back into the microfiber towel to let it dry, it didn’t stain my towel or my hands (I used gloves to apply but not to rinse and the application was good color without turning my whole sink green when I rinsed it out). Yes I'm gonna start this off with, I should've checked the color when I received my package and before putting it into my hair. That is my fault for not double checking so I am writing this so others won't do the same thing I did. I have ordered twice from Lunar tides in the past and received the color I paid for and I loved them so much!! This time around I ordered cyan sky but had to wait almost a month before they arrived. Also on top of that with some personal issues it took another month before I went to dye my hair, so at this point I'm just excited to get the color on my head. Well I opened it up and was thinking wow this is darker than the one I ordered but convinced myself it was the right one. After it has sat and processed and I washed it out, I looked into the mirror and fell in love with the color but still having the thought of its a lil green from what I thought I ordered. So I get on amazon finally and I realized I put the wrong color on my head. But I do love the color still and hopefully next time when I order the cyan sky I will actually receive it. I would give them that 5 star rating however I am a little sad about not getting the right color. But I love this brand and it is the only hair dye that I use now and will continue to use. Just a small hiccup and wanted to let others to double check their color so they don't accidentally do what I did. I am still happy with the result and still love Lunar tides, no one is perfect and I recommend the Cerulean Sea hair color to anyone that wants a bright blue with a green undertone and changes between blue and green depending on lighting. It's a gorgeous hair color!!

I’ve had electric blue hair since 2019 that faded to a nice aqua blue and been wanted to go green since late last year. I went to the salon twice and on both occasions the green used had too much blue pigment and my hair ended up 1. Way too blue 2. Washed out in the first couple of washes leaving me with aqua hair again.After doing research I decided to color my hair at home. I used pravana yellow to sort of “tone” the blue. This left me with a kind of mossy green. I washed and dried my hair again and then applied Juniper Green, added a cap and let sit for 40 minutes, applied a total of 5 minutes of heat and it left me with the absolute most beautiful dark deep (but bright in light) shade.Will update my review with an image when I do a full beat.

Didn’t stain my bathtub, my hair isn’t that porous so it didn’t last as long unfortunately, faded in 2-3 weeks and about 7-10 washes not sure if that’s normal, lasts about as long as anything else :) I absolutely LOVED the colour just as vibrant as described and shown and I had really yellow still almost green hair when dying it. Very happy!!

Quedó hermoso pero salió más naranja que rosa, hay que matizar el amarillo de la decoloración antes de usarlo. Casi no deja residuos al lavarlo, el cabello absorbe prácticamente tido el tinte y no mancha. Trae algo de aceite en la mezcla que te deja el cabello suavecito.Le doy 4 estrellas porque se tardó casi 2 meses en llegar, pero es porque vivo en México.

Es buen tinte y un bonito color que yo mezclo con otro, pero se nota que el vendedor no quiere vender y no volveré a comprar ya que de $200 subió a $800 lo cual es ridiculo. Que cierre su tienda aquí y ya

I put this over medium brown hair and it gave an even brighter green that I had expected, I love it and it’s taken nearly a month for me to feel like it’s time to redye when it usually takes 2 weeks with other dyes
