Usborne Books Big Book of Colors Board book – January 1, 2015

I got this book for my son so that I can teach him the colors and it is his favorite book now. He loves all of the different pictures on each page and makes the noises of the animals and the cars on the pages. I would definitely recommend this book to every parent and anyone who interacts with kids. I also love how big it is, and the little explanations on each page regarding the colors. Buy it, you won’t regret it.Ps. my son ripped off the wheel in the second page ... it is still a good book.

This book is so visually stimulating, I absolutely love it. I actually get excited when this is the book that my 18 month old brings me to read with him. I look at many of books that are suppose to be for his age group, and have to wonder how publishers expect parents to get their kids interested in books when there is nothing in them to grab their attention ... This book easily grabs even the shortest of attention spans, and then kickstarts their wild little imaginations. It gets even better though, because it isn't just a picture book, it's also packed full of imformation about colors that will take your child years to learn and comprehend. Your child will absorb new information from this book as their development progresses, and they will still probably get something out of it when they are 10 years old.Overall great book for children of any age! I really can't imagine anyone regretting the purchase of this book!

I actually learned some things about colors!! The kids love it, especially the wheel!

Beautifully done! My son loves this book - so much to look at and lots of information for him to absorb! He loves the interactive pages too like the color wheel.

We love this book! It is so beautiful and has really nice learning features as well, for when baby gets older. I wouldn’t recommend buying used because you may risk the extra features, like the spinning color wheel or the transparent page, being worn down.

My 2.5yrs old doesn’t like the fact that we label different shades of colors as simply blue or red etc. and love it when I offer her new vocabulary for more precise labeling. I’ve been looking for a child’s book with larger vocabulary for labeling for the longest time and is incredibly excited to come across this book.While my girl is now happy that she can learn the names of different mixture of colors, I’m disappointed with the print as it makes many colors look the same when they should have been different. For instance, burgundy and maroon looks identical in the book when one should have been more purplish. The indistinguishable colors happen across all pages in the book. :(Her favorite page is the color changing page which I find real cool too. Its probably still the best color book I can find on the market but requires work on the parents’ part to correct the imprecise color labeling due to poor printing.

My toddler has known all his colors since he was 15 months old and I credit it to this book! So fun, we still read it every day! Parents be warned: your toddler will rip out the color wheel! My toddler, my niece and my friend’s toddler ripped the wheel out immediately! It’s too fun not to hold!

Gorgeous color book! We have it out on display on a bookshelf it’s so fun to look at. My daughter learned her colors within about a week of receiving this book. It’s a great one to grow with a toddler too- there’s parts about mixing colors, emotions/moods associated with colors, names of more unusual colors, and more!
