I don't use these in the bathroom; all I use there is cotton. But they are great anywhere else in the house where a small throw rug is needed. We have seven such rugs in various locations. The older ones that have not yet been replaced with these are flimsy, show every speck of dust or dog hair, and do not hold up well in the washing machine. These are sturdily built, conceal small particles until there is an opportunity to shake, vacuum or wash them, and come out of the washing machine in perfect condition.

Could be a smidge thicker but pretty dang soft the way they are.

We have a 13year old black Lab that squirts water out the side of her mouth. This leaves a slippery little pond in our kitchen. The rug is black so it hides her hair. Very please about this.

These rugs DO NOT hold up after repeated washings. I purchased several of them last summer to use in the bathrooms of our new townhouse. The first few months they were fine. I wash them weekly as we take a lot of showers in our house. Fast forward almost 9 months later, and they are very thinned out with pieces of the backing coming off all over the place when I remove them from the washer. I never dried them either in my dryer-I always layed them out on a rack to dry, otherwise they probably would have fallen apart much sooner. Now, they no longer lay flat on the floor and get crumpled and caught under my bathroom door when I try to close it. Don’t waste your money. They just aren’t durable enough if you wash your rugs weekly as I do.After researching, I’m going to try another brand that has a different type of backing that supposedly holds up much better in the wash. Haven’t ordered them yet, but plan to soon. And they are a few dollars cheaper than these are too, so that’s a plus.

I have had a lot of shower rugs, this one grips, and it goes through washer AND drier and doesnt peel and make a mess in dryer. I love it.
