Cooks Standard 5 Quart/11-Inch Hard Anodized Nonstick Deep Saute Pan with Lid, Black

I've been looking for a nice 5 quart pan to replace a Tasty pan I've been using for a while. While the Tasty pan was okay, it was raised in the middle and didn't evenly distribute melting butter or cooking oil. This pan is a bit on the heavy side and is perfectly flat. Wonderful pan! I use a sudsy dishcloth to clean - soft scrubber isn't necessary. If it's at all crispy, let pan cool then soak in water to soften up cooking residue. I'm glad I took the time to finally find it.

Purchased to replace a Kirkland pan that I over heated and damaged the non stick finish.Seems well made. Heavy. Good heat conduction. As good as the pan it is replacing.

I have the whole set of Cooks cookware. I've had it for about 15 years. I love it. It didn't come with a large frying pan. After going through several other brands I decided to see if Cooks had one. They did and I ordered it. I'm a little disappointed that it not made te the other pieces. It's heavy and is supposed to be hard anadized but the inside looks more like other non-stick pans. Over all materials are just not the same as the rest of my Cooks products. I hope that I will have years of use. It does have a 10yr. warranty .

Good everyday pan when cooking for two. I use it for fish, chicken, taco meat, potatoes, onions, ... on a gas stove. Lightweight, lid fits fine, easy to maneuver in the sink, easy to clean.Not as good as cast iron to sear meat or caramelize onions and not for use on an induction stove, but good for most everyday uses.

Like the fact we can put so much more in it. Very easy to take from stove top to the oven. It continues to be nonstick. I like the cool handle when using on stove top. We have an 11 inch burner and it matches up perfectly . I have a glass top range and it has not scratched the top of my stove. I would recommend this pan !Would give it more stars if I could.

I really really like this sauce pan, especially so with high sides. Feels thick and heavy. Nice handle. Good heat distribution. Cleans up will. Decent (but not fantastic) lid.The only thing I don't like is that it isn't a 10" (interior) pan. That means I can't use it to make quesadillas with burrito tortillas.

I have 2 of these the 12" and the10".The Cooks brand is absolutely top quality. If you need the best available buy it with confidence, you will not regret it.

This is a beautiful saute pan. I am replacing an old Calphalon and was excited to try a Cooks as I think highly of their brand. I got so excited, however, that I didn't notice there wasn't a helper handle. It is well built and seems like a high quality piece.Pots of this size are awkward and heavy, so I had to return it. I'm not as hopeful about the replacement I got, but we'll see.

Although I had no direct interaction with the seller, everything went as expected after I placed the order. The product is as advertised. Very nice so far.(FYI: We hand wash only all of our pans regardless of make since that seems to be problematic regardless of what any manufacturers say, so far no problems at all with any of them)

Historically, this has been my absolute favourite saute pan for daily use, for many years. I buy a new pan every year to ensure food quality and protection from worn off coating as we truly use this every day. I ordered a new pan to find that this product is now noticeably thinner and lighter weight. I'm not sure how it's quality will fare and I may need to look elsewhere for another new favourite?!
