Found the best solution to trying a new fish oil that provides quality, without the burbs and even better the size is surely going to help those that fear swallowing large pills that exist with most fish oil supplements. This is my 3rd order of these and love them! I rarely, maybe 1 out of 5 times experience a fish burp, it's rare with these and the size makes it safe to swallow. You do take 3 at once, and with the smaller circular size, it feels safe taking these and not worrying to choke. I will be getting these for my 74 year old mother who has several unfortunate ailments. Fish oil was recommended by her heart doctor, and look forward to sharing these with her to see how she responds.

These little gems provide as much EPA and DHA as their humongous horse-pill cousins. I'll never go back to choking down huge Fish Oil pills while these are on the market.They have no taste, fishy or otherwise.They're about the size of a typical capsule, only round. No, not oblong like the horse pills. So, if you take multiples (I take 3), they're very easy to swallow all at once. They're also plenty slippery when wet so they slide right down. I don't know if you've ever had to swallow pills that were not slippery, like One-a-days or any pressed powder pills... but these are so much more pleasant to swallow.They also don't hoard all of the space in your pill box, pill carrier or whatever pill organizer you might use. The horse-pills barely left room for anything else in my typically sized pill organizer. But these take up only a small corner of space in each evening's box.Nature Made is a reliable and trustworthy brand. I've bought many supplements from them and always been happy with the quality and effect they've had.

I got these for my cat. I am a veterinarian, and have tried for years to get him to take fish oil/omega3 supplements for general wellness to no avail. He will not eat food with oil on it or mixed in and even started turning his nose up at powdered/granulated supplements like Platinum Performance, Missing Link etc. He vomits if you squirt the oil directly in his mouth. This wasn't such a *huge* deal until he hit his teen years, and started getting a poor coat and difficulty moving around. I feed a high quality commercial diet that is one of the highest Omega3 concentration you can find, but it wasn't enough. The last straw was that he developed a very mild case of miliary dermatitis. I became determined to get fish oil into him again. He takes pills very well, but obviously even if he could choke down a regular fish oil cap, the dose would be much too high for an 11 lb cat.I found these "pearls" on a desperate search, and it's PERFECT! Nature Made is the brand I trust for my own fish oil supplements, and the size of the capsule and dose of EPA/DHA is perfect for a daily dose for a larger cat. They are actually small and inoffensive enough that some nights he will swallow them whole out of my hand. No vomiting. No diarrhea (common side effect for animals with too high dose/poor quality fish oil). Within a couple weeks, he was moving better, the dermatitis cleared, the flakey skin resolved and he just feels better. Highly, highly recommend.

Small size means easy for beginning pill takers to manage. My daughter is learning to swallow pills. (Late to the game at age 14: more of an anxiety issue) She finds if she chews a small bite of banana and puts this in her mouth before swallowing it is easiest for her. She has not mentioned any after taste either which is good because she is sensitive to things like that.

I have a problem swallowing large pills. You really can't break a fish oil pill in half to swallow in halves. So these pills are the easies to swallow I have come across. But to get the recommended dose, you have to take a lot of them. So this make them a lot more expensive. All and all it is worth it for me.

These are SO much easier to swallow than regular fish oil pills. You only get half the dosage (500mg vs 1000mg), but they are so tiny and easy to take that I don't mind taking it twice a day. I just have one with breakfast and another with dinner. This is my third bottle and I've never had "fish burps" with these.I've looked around for other "mini" fish oil pills, but nothing has compared to these in terms of size and ease of swallowing.I take these because my eyes are soooo dry and constantly feel gritty and itchy. Taking one of these twice a day takes care of that completely without the annoyance or irritation of using eye drops.

So glad to find this product! I could not swallow the large fish oil capsules without gagging. I discovered these pills when someone wrote a comment in a review, so thank you to whomever it was that mentioned this product. I now take the 3-pill dosage as suggested on the bottle, and have almost no problem at all. I'm just not a good pill-taker. They go down much easier than the large pills. I have not had a problem with the burping. As someone who doesn't eat fish (can't stand the taste or after-taste) I would be super sensitive to this, and I don't find it a problem. Probably, this issue varies from person to person, and I don't have an issue with it. I also like the fact that, as stated on the Nature Made bottle, that the oil is purified for mercury and other impurities. I will order these on a regular basis as I can't find them in stores.
