This adapter, while it reports SuperSpeed capable, does not show a USB 3.0 interface; it's only USB 2.0.That being said, it seems to work quite well. Windows 10 automatically installed the same drivers that are provided with the adapter, and I got over 200Mbps connection speed with it.The antenna is detachable, so I can use an external antenna to improve signal strength.All in all, I'm happy with it. Now to see if it lasts...

I opened the AC 1200 Dual Band USB 3.0 Adapter and found the instructions but no CD. Since my operating system is Windows 7 I'm now stuck with no wifi. Also the instructions are printed so small that even with my glasses I couldn't read the Quick Installation Guide. I had to use a magnifying glass.

I installed the device in a few minutes. Windows 10 automatically detected the device and I did not need to install additional drivers. Speeds were as fast as I could get on my COX communications Wifi router. Much faster than the 600N device I previously had installed. Device is well built and you can beat it for the price. Made my sons gaming WAY faster.

Excellent product that worked out of the box with no additional setup required. I used this on an old Chromebook that I converted to a Windows 10 system. No problems, and spectacular speed. Connects to 5Ghz bands, no problem. I only wish it didn't need the antennae, but I understand it from a hardware limitation standpoint.

Even though it says compatible with Windows 10 it was not compatible with my computer and I have Windows 10 pro i stalled.

Bought this for a PC in a room at the back of the house and it worked like a charm. Shows 4 bars which is much better than the 1 to 2 I was getting with the usb netgear I had.

Window 10 installed the drivers automatically and connected to my 5ghz router but only get 20meg down. My iphone gets 200meg down. any tips?

Initially I tried to download the drivers from the dropbox link on the package but they wouldn't download. I use dropbox for work all the time so I'm confident it's not user error but I can foresee this being a problem for other OS aside from Windows 10 (maybe).Instead I just plugged it in and device manger saw it instantly I searched via windows for new driver but it's apparently up to date. Anyways it's definitely dual band and i'm getting my max ISP speed of 50Mps, I haven't tried transferring files yet I might update if I try.

The product is mailed along with a dropbox link that contains drivers. In the Linux folders... the drivers are missing!After finding some drivers online (just search for rtl88x2bu drivers) it turns out this product does not support monitor mode and freezes my machine when I try to turn it on.Will be returning.

Got an upgrade on my home internet speeds, but my previous wireless adapter was only capable of 802.11n and I could not reach max speeds with that adapter. Got this new dual band adapter specifically to make use of the 5.0Ghz band.Results were excellent. The product uses a high quality Realtek chip and so drivers were very easy to find and install.

The Driver software provided by Seller via down loading from specific website was found not working with my Windows 10 nor Windows 7 computers. The experience in setting up the device was most frustrating and completely waste of time.Will Seller please check and make sure the driver works as stated before putting it on the market.The USB Wifi adopter was returned.

Simply does not work with current Linux Distros. I bought it to replace a cheap $6.00 USB dongle that worked out of the package. I wanted a faster connection. After 4 hours of struggling with it, I gave up. It is not worth anything at all.
