Kanna Panna (English)
P**A
A sensitively told story
“Look up! Head up!” Kanna’s father tells him many times a day. His mother too keeps asking him to “Do this!” or “Do that!” Kanna doesn’t speak much but a lot of words bounce around in his head. When he stays with his Aunt, Uncle, and cousins for a few days, they visit the cave temples. The lights go out. Nobody can see a thing. However, this doesn’t worry Kanna as he has never been able to see. When he realises that he can help them, it changes his life forever. While the book is heart-warming, the lack of ability that holds the child back is not apparent at first. From the first few pages, it seems as though it is his mental faculty that's holding him back. I re-read the book after Kanna's disability became clear towards the end of the book to view the whole story with fresh eyes.

It is not very clear on the product page(https://www.amazon.in/dp/9350466600/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_0), but this is not in English language. However while I write this review, it seems the page has been updated in the product name detail about the language. It was very difficult to identify and hence had to return the product as we cannot read the language in which the book has been written. Reordered the English version.
