Maranatha No Stir No Sugar or Salt Added Almond Butter Packets, 1.15 Ounce (10 Count)

I used to buy another brand, until one day I almost broke a tooth on a piece of almond shell. I then came upon this Maranatha brand. It is super smooth because it is double ground, and I no longer have to worry about breaking a tooth. So this almond butter brand is a winner for me! I've put in multiple orders to Amazon over the past year for these Almond Butter packets. I'm currently online now to put in another order, and I'm dismayed to see that Amazon shows this as no longer available!!! Hopefully my review will help bring them back again.Some other features I loved: that it's sold as easy-open, readily-portable snack packets, which also helps with portion control. Someone complained about how to get the almond butter out - I've had no problems. I first rinse/wash the packet, then knead the packet, then rip the top off (or use scissors), and then squeeze the almond butter out directly into my mouth, by slowly rolling the packet from the bottom.

Maranatha is my favorite Almond Butter. So I was excited to hear they packaged their product in these convenient little packets. I am a cyclist and often fuel my adventures with gel packets. After being diagnosed as Pre-diabetic, I can no longer use the high suger electrolyte energy gels. So I've replaced them with these packets of all natural, no sugar added, almond butter packets. Works great while out on an epic ride on the road or the trail. I can drop a couple in my pocket an easily take it with me.

Bland, loaded with palm oil to the point of having virtually no flavor. Gross texture, like toothpaste. I couldn't finish the first packet. Buy real almond butter, the taste is a day and night difference.Manufacturers put palm oil in the products not only to make it spreadable and so it won't settle, but they also do it because palm oil is a cheap filler. This product goes to the extreme with filler, it must be at least 50% palm oil by volume, if the taste and texture is anything to go by.

Took this in my suitcase to Aruba so it travelled well. A little tricky to get out of the packet. I had to dig with a knife. Ate everyday in a protein smoothly so do not notice the taste until I was home and used a packet to spread on celery. It has a funny smell and taste. I also try never to buy anything with palm oil. Almond butter needs no oil or sugar. I only by almond butter made with only almonds but I needed this for my trip.

If you eat a packet of sludge, it is all fat, fiber, and awesomeness. You might not understand, but search around on the western diet. When you are super depressed about carbs, continue eating this. It works.

The box holding the packets was torn and the packets were all over the place! I can't understand why shipping can't be something that is done well! The product itself is really enjoyable.

I am on Keto and this is a wonderful, portable, satisfying snack to throw in my purse. Easy to open.
