Look for variants on Amazon, Excellent drone
Review for: ARRIS Foldable RC Drone Wifi FPV 2.4G 4CH 6 Axis Altitude Hold Function Headless Quadcopter with 720P 2MP Wide Angle Camera.**UPDATE, day 2** Drone flips are possible by pressing the "flip" button and then the right-hand toggle directs which way the flip occurs (forward, backward, sideways). Incidentally & unfortunately, one of the screws holding the blades in place on one of the drones turned out to be loose, resulting in a blade (intact) flying off and the gear underneath falling off during a flip... we found the blade but not the gear, and there are no spare gears included so we are down a drone. :'( But my boys love the drones and I'm looking to get this issue fixed asap. The same drone that lost its gear also broke its video camera hinge on a crash landing. I wish the drones had a protective clear flip-open cover over the cameras. Still, my review below holds.INTRO: I'm *extremely happy.* This drone is easily the best drone under $100 on the market. By the way, there seem to be two general variants of this drone, one with a 0.3 MP camera and this one with a 2 MP camera. This one (2MP) produces remarkably good video and still footage. Also by the way, there are a variety of prices for this exact model, all sold under different names. This seems to be a generic off-brand drone that happens to be really high quality, and sold by various companies with their own names. Look under related drones. I found literally like 10 or more clones of this for sale on Amazon, for different prices, but clearly the same drone. You'll note that most of them have very good reviews.Pros:1) TOUGH. My boys got it today (Christmas) and have crashed it indoors at least 20+ times, The folding arms turn out to be a protective feature because when this drone crashes hard into a wall, the arms fold and absorb some of the crash force. Anyway, the blades are marked up but have NOT broken!!! Wow. Also, even though NOT shown, this drone DID come with blade protectors that snap in.2) Long-lasting battery -- though my boys were flying the drones in brief spurts between crashes, it sure seemed like a LOONG time passed before the battery needed to be switched out.3) LIVE video on your phone. You can put your phone in a 3-D phone headset and view your drone video live as it flies.4) FAST: these drones can MOVE, though they can also hold very steady -- speaking of which, once you "trim" the flight of the drone, it holds in mid-air very nicely.Cons:1) The controller pictured shows a button with a camera and another with a video camera. But on the controllers I received, those two particular buttons have no image. However, it is possible to record video and take still pics from the phone app.2) aerial flip: I pushed the button marked for that, but the drone beeped and didn't do anything. I'll try more tomorrow. Maybe I need to actually obey the rules (It says like have some large amount of space overhead and we were in room with an 8' ceiling...) or maybe I have to hold down the button. Anyway, I have seen videos of this exact drone doing the automated flip no problem, so IDK, I suspect I'll figure it out.3) the manual said to look for some wifi networked named some weird name, but my drones put out a wifi network named such-and-such 720P such-and-such. So look for a Wifi network with 720P in the name when you are connecting your phone (and beyond that, connection was a cinch in both Android and IOS).

OUT OF CONTROL!
It flies great and my husband (an FAA-licensed flight instructor) really enjoyed his Christmas present...for about five minutes. A short battery life, however, was the least of its problems. On the second flight in front of the house, it immediately rocketed up about 60 feet and NOTHING would get it back down - none of the so-called "emergency buttons" on the so-called "controller" did a THING. Once at tree-top level, it caught a five-knot puff of air which it was unable to resist. That pushed it squarely over the canal at the back of the house. NOW is when it descended - plop - into the cold waters of the canal. It drifted on the surface for a bit before foundering. Maybe we'll look for it in the spring when the water warms...just to ensure it poses no threat to the water sport crowd. I'd post a photo, but we don't own an underwater camera.

Begginers training drone
This is a great cheap drone for begginers to train on but thats as far as I would go. It has some good features to make it a great buy but some features don't work or don't work well. Its nimble fast and light weight. That being said it dosen't handle the wind well. Anything 5 mph and over and this drone can struggle if you are trying to hover to take photos or video. It does have the altitude hold feature but it drifts around alot even after using the trim buttons. This drone can take a beating. Don't let the toy like feeling trick you. Ours got stuck in a tree 50 feet up fell out and crashed to the sidewalk below. Picked it up reset the drone and away it went. The auto take off will pop up the drone about 3 feet off the ground but be prepaired to quickly grab control of the controls because it will start to drift right away. The auto land feature is nice it will desend slowly and hover about 8 inches above ground before it cuts the motor and falls the rest of the way down. Falling down....a few times flying the drone the drone just stopped working, motors just shut off, about 20 to 25 feet up and it came crashing down. Dont know why. It has done that to me 3 times already. The range of control is not accurate it says 100 meters but I get about 150 feet befoe it loses contact with the controller and goes into safe mood and makes a slow decent down. Nice feature but however it doesnt stop and decend down it will still execute the last command it was given. We had ours flying forward about 20 feet in the air when we lost contact with it and though it began its slow decent it was still flying forward. It landed right into a busy street where it got ran over. We purchased a new one and tried the return to home feature. 4 out of 5 times it would do something but never return to home. It would just take off on its own at a good clip zipping past us all the while making a decent. This drone has 3 speeds controlled by a button on the controller. Begginers at 30% speed, intermediate at 60% speed and master at 100%. After flying this just a few times we pop this into master mode all the time now to get the most fun with its agility. Just keep in mind it does have a lot of forward momentum so if you are looking for some cool drift moves this is one for just that. The Photo button on the controller dosent work but it does on the app. To record video it must be started and stopped on the app before you turn the drone off or it wont save to your phone. Thats including any crashes where it shuts off. Not sure about the SD card cause we havent put one in yet. The video does have jelloing on it but the video quality itself is pretty clear for 720. the FPV has about a 1 to 2 sec lag so if you want to try and learn how to fly by goggles or the streaming video keep that in mind.We have fun flying this around and we don't cringe when it takes a tumble. I recommend buying a few more batteries because the 8 min fly time with one battery isnt enough when you take it out. You just want to keep flying it. The color of this drone blends in with the background. Even though it has lights on it its hard to see in the daylight. We ended up painting some orange stripes on ours and that made a huge difference in visability. In my opinion this is a great beginners drone if you want to get into racing. With its fast nimble speed and resilience to crashes this one wont break the pocket book. If you do crash it and need parts Banggood web site sells every single part for repair or replacement. If you are looking for a drone to take ariel photos or videos I would suggest investing in those other expensive ones meant for such.

Very fragile
One light crash and it broke! One of the perpellas won’t spin. Only got to fly it twice. Very fragile. Absolutely gutted!
