Now this is a nice siphon...and it's green!
I saw some rather negative reviews and decided to purchase it anyway because it's green. My experience was different than any negative and this product is much better than the overpriced ones I've purchased in stores. I straightened the hose by running it under hot bathwater and it became wonderfully pliable(unlike some brand name ones I've tried). The two attachments are most useful. It siphoned quickly and with the siphon on the far end, it stayed in the bucket without slipping out and getting water all over. It worked very well with my gravel and sand bottom tank. The two hard pieces upfront made it very nice to reach in my 55 gal. tank. I bet it'll work on the outside pond, too. The clear piece for gravel and sand if very clear and helps avoid getting fish in there. This IS the best siphon I've used in years and would definitely buy again for the pond to have it's own. And I love the green!!!!

Just squeeze
This seems well made and works great. Just a few squeezes and the water flows. It also has a good flow rate. I especially like the flexibility of length and various options for intake. A very well thought out design to function.

Good quality cleaner
The product works fine. Looking at other review remarks, the hard tubing towards the front is meant to have a long reach to clean the tank without sticking your hand in the water. The cleaner is also easy to put together. Overall the cleaner is good and I have no complaints about it.

Small but works well
The only complaint would be the tubing to the plastic. It's hard to connect it sometimes but that being said it forms a good seal so it works well. I like the pump on it rather than the older way of tipping it to get the bubbles out to start it working. I don't like the teeth at the bottom of the part that suctions the rocks however but it's not that it's in the way either - just personal preferance. Otherwise works well and is holding up nicely. Seems to air out well.

Works great
Was a bit hard to figure out how to get it together but loved it after I got to start using it

Ok for water removal but no suction power to remove tank debris
Was expecting a lot more suction power and the hand pump is very weak. It is very easy to set up and it does help to remove the water but if you are looking for suction power to pick up the debris on the bottom of the tank you will be disappointed, also dont squeeze the hand pump too hard otherwise it may collapse on itself making it difficult to use

A bad choice for a smaller aquarium under 75 gallon.
This product did not work at all for me. The tube was really hard and not flexible. And the Val that you use to squeeze for the water to start coming up didn’t work. I tried the old fashion way with sucking yet that didn’t work either. I do not recommend this product for anything smaller then a 75 gallon.
