Tight Fit
This is a very nice warm sleep shirt, it's soft and has a cute pattern. The only problem is that it only goes up to XL and the sizing is not quite right. I ordered an XL and the arms were tight and very restrictive, the body was slightly tight around my mid section and tighter around my top half.XL in sleepwear is usually very loose on me.

I will buy another one
This is a super soft & thick nightgown! I am 5'2 and 130lbs and I read the reviews and ordered midium (normally I wear a small) . I am very very happy with it.I am sooo not complaining!!!

Great jammy, I love it!
Delivery was on time. I got the bunny print and it’s really cute! I wear medium but tend to order size large on most things to allow for shrinkage and because I like a little looser fit even if an item doesn’t shrink. So this pajama must run a little smaller because I ordered size large and it fits just right. It’s a comfy flannel material that’s not too heavy and not too light, perfect for the cooler winter nights. The length is just right for providing coverage and not getting tangled up with too much material when sleeping. The long sleeves are perfect and I like the style. It’s just right for me. Overall I am happy with this purchase and will probably order another in a different print.

Very soft and warm. Consider getting one size up just in case.
My wife typically wears small but I got the medium just in case. Glad I did, she’s petite but this has enough room to move around comfortably. Likely also shrank after first wash before wear. She loves this btw! Said its very warm, soft and comfortable.

Warm, thick, quality flannel but runs very small
It’s a nice warm, thick, good quality flannel ! I gave 4 stars because it does run really small. However, I had read the reviews & people recommended to order up 2 sizes & I did from Medium to XL. I got a flannel night shirt from H & M - thinner flannel , but good for SoCal & I wear a Small in theirs.

4 stars -- here's what you need to know about sizing info
Like others have said, the flannel is thick, soft, and very warm. If it feels a wee bit stiff right out of the bag, it will soften up with washing or even just wearing it. (I think there may be some sizing in the fabric.) The colors are pretty much as pictured, from the items I've seen in person. All the reviews and comments here about sizes and fit were really confusing to me and led me to buy the wrong size. So I want to help sort out some of the confusion.First of all, do NOT buy two sizes larger. Trust me on this. What I noticed is that only the OLDER reviews talk about how the nightshirt runs small. If you sort reviews by "most recent" instead of by "top reviews," you'll see the more recent views either say the nightie is true to size or that it runs a little bigger than expected. So maybe the garment maker adjusted the sizing in response to those older comments. There are two size charts in the product info. One is in the pictures, and one is in the printed info. Go with the size chart that is the last photo -- the garment measurements there match the measurements of the nightshirts I actually received (44" across the chest for Medium and 47.5" for Large). The nightshirt has an oversized cut -- that's why it's labeled as a "boyfriend" cut. So it's already wide, particularly in the shoulders and neck area. That's why you don't need to go up a size.I have now tried on this item in 3 sizes -- small, medium, and large. For reference, I'm between a size 6 and 8 in jeans and dresses. So sometimes I need a size small and sometimes I need a medium. It just depends on the cut and style of a garment. I am about 5'5" and my weight fluctuates between 125 and 130ish. My weight is mostly in my waist and tummy. My bra size is 36C or 34D, depending on the brand. It's true that the sleeves are a bit short, but it doesn't bother me. I've found it's common for nightshirts to to have sleeves that don't quite reach my wrist bones. Your mileage may vary.My experiences with the various sizes.SMALL -- this one fit me like the girl in the picture. It's the way you'd want a regular blouse to fit, with the shoulder seams lined up right with my shoulder, and a tailored fit down the sides. However, since it's sleepwear and not a blouse, I felt the armholes and sleeves were just a wee bit more restrictive than I preferred. Also, there was really no room for shrinkage in the washer/dryer. I'm sending it back. So I'd recommend size small for ladies whose dress size is a 2 or 4, and possibly a 6 if you have narrow shoulders and thinner arms or want a slim fit.MEDIUM -- this is ultimately the size I ended up keeping, and even ordered a couple more in different colors. It has a slightly oversized fit on me, with the shoulder seams hanging off my shoulders -- just like if you put on your boyfriend's shirt. The arms are still a little short, but don't feel tight at all. The armholes are loose and not restrictive. It's comfortable to wear in bed and doesn't bind when I'm rolling over. I'll wash in warm water and dry on low heat, and I'm confident the shrinkage won't ruin the fit. I recommend this size for ladies whose dress size is 6, 8, or 10 -- depending on how loose you like the fit and what temperature you set the dryer at. The unwashed shirt is 44" across the chest, from underarm to underarm. This is plenty roomy.LARGE -- this is the first one I got, because so many of the older reviews said it runs small. It was like wearing a tent! The problem with something that's TOO oversized is that when the v-neck is cut that large, it exposes a lot of chest and you can "pop out" of it. The actual garment measurement across the chest was about 48" from underarm to underarm. It was just too big for me, and I knew it wouldn't shrink that much, even with high heat (things tend to get shorter rather than narrower, and you don't want to lose length or sleeve length on this item). It's harder for me to recommend a size range for this one -- but I'm going to say it would work for ladies whose dress size is 10 or 12, possibly even 14 if you're not broad-shouldered or busty. It was kind of a lot of work getting the right size and coordinating the returns, but ultimately I think this is a good product. My old flannel nightshirts were getting really thin from years of washing, and this one is much warmer.

Comfy and Cute! Order one size up!
Very comfy and warm flannel nightshirt! It does run small! I usually wear a women’s medium but ordered a large after reading the reviews and am glad I did. I like some room in pajamas or it’s uncomfortable. It’s cotton so it breathes. Washes and dries nicely. I haven’t noticed any shrinking. I liked the pink one so much, I bought the blue one as well.

Nonnie's Favorite Gowns
I've now bought 3 of these for my 96 year old grandmother. They are her favorite! I don't think she sleeps in anything else, she just rotates these. They are soft, and wash well. She is only 5 feet tall, so they hit her at the mid calf. I bought them for her in medium, but the tags say 16-18, but she wears an 8-10 petite normally. I hope they come out with more colors soon!
