M.O.L.L.E pouch bag Radio Phone GPS (Atacs fg)

Great little pouch, but it does have its quirks. First off, it holds my Beofang with its extended battery snug and secure. The color and pattern is a good match with rest of my gear. The attachment method, while different, seems to hold. More on that later. As mentioned in another review, mine too had the velcro panel reversed on the bungee cord, and though it still worked while twisting it 180*, I chose to rethread it for a neater appearance. The fit is quite snug and I doubt the radio would work its way out regardless. The molle is unique in that it has no snaps or buttons to secure it, instead it is twice as long as normal and has a stiffener sewn into the latter half. This stiffener works great as a "needle" to thread it through the molle loops, and holds itself in place by tucking it back threw the loops on one side. Time will tell, but I doubt this setup with come undone on its own. So for the price, this is a well made and practical piece of kit. I'm glad I got it.

We have this pouch on hunting gear so the radio isn’t around our neck or just clipped somewhere ready to fall off or break the clip off (both of which happened to other people in my group last year) This is the perfect pouch for the baofeng radio with or without the extended battery.. we also have the long antenna and this keeps everything in place. This year we will be using the connecting wire to hook the radio up to peltors. This doesn’t interfere with the case and the radio still feels secure in the case. My husband would give more stars if he could!

I got this sort of impulsively, turned out it was a good call. The open sided design allows you to key the radio through the gap in the cord. Radio is easy to extract and retention is infinitely adjustable. Only thing I don't like about it is it isn't true MOLLE, as in the vertical MOLLE strap doesn't have a metal snap, which I prefer. Not a deal breaker though.

My UV5R with the oem battery and the generic 3800mah battery fit great and it’s easy to access with the elastic top strap. The only drawback when using the oem battery is that you have to pull the radio up to change the channel.

Figs the baofeng but if you’re running a ptt just remember it’s a bitch if you have to put it in or take it out. Once it’s in there it’s in there, but you have to put it in, then connect your microphone/ptt. There’s an opening on the side to connect through.

Ideal form fit and function for a Baofeng UV-5RIII. This doesn’t interrupt the ability to use the accessory jacks and the way that the top flap comes over allows the PWR/volume knob to be functional still.

As the headline says, my UV-5R fits well, but its snug. The cording does get in the way of wiring from a throat microphone setup if you opt to go that route.The MOLLE fit perfectly on my plate carrier.

Perfect size for my baofeng UV82. Securely mounts to molle, and the construction is well made and sturdy.
